We are a large group based in our own headquarters in Hazel Grove. We entered the Scouting world back in 1957, the main man behind this was Wilf Connor, he did all the paperwork etc. required to start 3hg. We now have around 150 members, including people of all ages, genders, religions and abilities. We accept both girls and boys in all sections.
We are heavily involved in the community at both local and national levels, organising the LDWA Bullock Smithy Hike. A 56 mile walk around the Peak District, with national and international competitors.
Our programme is designed to further all of our members physical, intellectual, social and spiritual needs.
